Spider-Girl #32
Penciller: Ron Frenz
Synopsis: Spider-Man's legacy is shown when Spider-Girl and American Dream meet an old hero and a new hero debuts.
Comments: Despite crediting Olliffe on the cover, the interior art was done by Ron Frenz as noted in my credits.
I like the shots of American Dream.
American Dream's origin is revealed. I guess DeFalco/Frenz weren't sure if they were going to be able to reveal it anywhere else.
Ollie Osnick first appeared in Spectacular Spider-Man #72, became Spider-Kid in Amazing Spider-Man #263, and became Steel Spider in Spider-Man Unlimited #5. It appears he didn't stay with his childhood sweetheart Jane Lane and instead married a trophy wife.
It's too bad we never met Steel Spider's foes Earth Mover, Wild Weasel and Septic Sentinel.
I like how both Brad and Jimmy both think of May when pondering Moose's question.
I don't think May ever got part time job at The Daily Bugle, after she flopped as a photographer.
Debut of the new Spider-Man. Black and red costume, with a larger spider emblem. He also likes the web under his arms.
