Spider-Girl #38

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Pat Olliffe

Synopsis: Changes are announced as Spider-Girl's adventure continues.

Comments: The cover is probably referencing that this was supposed to be the last issue of Spider-Girl. In story, it's probably May's reaction finding out that she's going to be a big sister.

Mary Jane announces she's pregnant. I guess May is disgusted by the idea that her parents are still intimate.

Phil Urich is revealed to be the Green Goblin. Farewell to the Golden Goblin.

The final pages and the final splash page try to give a send off by letting you know that the adventures continues. If the series hadn't been continued, then we wouldn't have known the identity of the new Spider-Man, probably assuming that Julia Carpenter was his mother and the gang war between Kingpin and Canis would have been unresolved.
