Spider-Girl #43

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Pat Olliffe

Synopsis: Spider-Girl and the new Spider-Man make possible life changing decisions.

Comments: I like the fanboy young Spider-Man. He calls Spider-Man "the World's Greatest Detective", a title used for Batman.

The cover is a reference to the TV show, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.

Angel Face must have super strength to face off against Spider-Girl and get slammed into a brick wall with no ill effects.

This was the last we saw of Gerry Drew. I liked him. The most we ever got with him again was a small update about him in Amazing Spider-Girl #0.

I feel bad for Spider-Girl when her friends walk away when she makes her executive decision to let the Faces go. And Raptor's "Big time" remark in small print is very sad.

I do like that May at least reconciles with Nancy Lu. I guess she doesn't give May an explanation on how she was able to lash out. She doesn't know that May already knows about her powers.
