Spider-Girl #52

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Ron Frenz

Synopsis: May deals with the fallout of her quitting Spider-Girl and Felicity fantasizes about a successful career as the Scarlet Spider.

Comments: This is a very experimental issue, artistic wise. Images of characters hang on the side or top of the page.

This is the set up to the MC2's answer to Freedom Force/Suicide Squad. Superhuman criminals forced to work for the government in order to avoid imprisonment.

There has been speculation (thanks frogoat) that Felicity is in love with May. The apology she fantasizes about is something you would want from someone who rejected you before, but now sees your worth.

Panels from Spider-Girl #49 are used here. Despite May saying she might see Alison again, we never see Alison again.
