Spider-Girl #60

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Ron Frenz

Synopsis: Spider-Girl deals with her new baby brother and a problem at school she doesn't have the experience to deal with.

Comments: This starts the Sandra Healy subplot that takes several years to resolve.

Since this was supposed to be the last issue (again!), Ladyhawk gets a quick origin. Ladyhawk says their father is dead, but it's later revealed not to be the case. I'm sure Ladyhawk was just protecting their privacy.

While she can handle super villains, May is out of her depth on social work. Marvel Database's web page on this issue gives this as Caitlan Leiber's first appearance, but this woman looks and acts nothing like Caitlan Leiber.

The final full page spread.
