Spider-Girl #62
Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Ron Frenz
Synopsis: Spider-Girl thinks that whoever blew up the Web Site may know her identity.
Comments: Peter's comment about a Bat Cave signifies how it's the most famous super hero headquarters in popular media. Everyone knows the Bat Cave.
Another DC reference, the shadowy leader of the reformed supervillain squad says "Don't call me chief!" to Big Man. A repeated line of Perry White's to Jimmy Olsen in the TV show The Adventures of Superman.
I agree with frogoat that the mysterious trench coat figure was overused in Spider-Girl. If Tom DeFalco or his collaborators see this post, I promise this the harshest criticism I give MC2 and you'll be okay.
You can see the back of Howard's (May's school stalker) head here.
May's spider sense can differentiate one threat from another.
