Amazing Spider-Girl #19

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Ron Frenz

Synopsis: Arana seeks out to Spider-Girl to test her skills.

Comments: For some reason Arana calls Miguel by the anglicized form of his name, Michael in this issue.

Moose still blames Spider-Girl for his father's poor health because she wouldn't let the Carnage symbiote bond with him.

Spider-Girl and Arana calling each other cheap knock offs. Hmm, is that the fandom talking?

Spider-Girl's finishing punch to Arana reminds of Spider-Man and Daredevil's finishing punch to Elector in Marvel Team-Up #56, which was drawn by Amazing Spider-Girl artist, Sal Buscema. May might know some Spanish or be culturally aware enough to know hermanita means "little sister." Arana's request for Miguel to scratch her nose is funny.
