Amazing Spider-Girl #6

Writer: Tom DeFalco
Penciller: Ron Frenz

Synopsis: The Hobgoblin targets "Spider-Girl" at a comic book store.

Comments: I don't think it took much convincing to get Heather to dress up as Spider-Girl since she was already established to be a Spider-Girl fan in Spider-Girl #45. She also protested on behalf of the Spider Shoppe in Spider-Girl #91 and may have been one of the women who dressed up in a Spider-Girl costume to distract La Fantome.

At least Hobgoblin knows he didn't kidnap the real Spider-Girl, avoiding the cliché where the villain kidnaps or assaults someone dressed like the hero. So he's smarter than Dr. Doom was in Amazing Spider-Man #5 when he kidnapped Flash Thompson dressed as Spider-Man.

Being dragged around like that can't be good for Heather's arm. I'm surprised she wasn't in a sling in her next appearance.

Heather is making a reference to the "Who's got you?" line from Superman. Spider-Girl said the same thing to Darkdevil in Spider-Girl #14.

Let the May/Wes shipping begin!

Spider-Girl gives the disc to Drasco.
