DeFalco/Frenz Retrospective Introduction

Having covered the MC2, I thought the next logical step would be to review all the comics done by favorite team: Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. Having covered the MC2 comics, the job is half over!

So the rule is that these are comics that both Tom and Ron collaborated on. While it has been collaborative effort with them, usually Tom is credited as the writer and Ron is credited as the penciler. There are comics though where Tom did the plot, someone else scripted and Ron penciled. There are stories where both Tom and Ron are credited as the writer and someone else did the penciling. There are even stories where the credits are a bit murky due to shake ups on a title, but both Tom and Ron are credited in some capacity.

I'll be doing my best to review these in order of publication rather than chronological order. I want to start with the beginning of their collaboration in January 1984 to present.

A change with these posts is that I'm going to change the spelling of "penciller" to "penciler." I did that all through my MC2 reviews, but I'm going to try and get it right this time.

Welcome to the DeFalco/Frenz Retrospective.
