DeFalco/Frenz Retrospective: Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Comic Magazine #7

Writer: Erik Larsen, Eric Stephenson, Tom DeFalco
Penciler: Rick Veitch, Ron Frenz, Mike Manley, Graham Nolan

Synopsis: The Fantastic Four are set adrift in space.

Comments: The way Sue holds everyone in her force field reminds me of Fantastic Four #279 where Sue did the same thing after the Baxter Building was destroyed in space.

Crystal treats Lockjaw like a dog as Quicksilver affirmed he is in X-Factor #71. The picture of Johnny and Crystal seems to be the same car from Fantastic Four #65.

All this talk of pancakes is making me think of Hellboy.

Giganto was killed in Fantastic Four #4. So this must be his brother or son.

I guess S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't hold a grudge against the Silver Surfer for attacking them in Silver Surfer #17. The Surfer still has a grudge against Doom for stealing his powers in Fantastic Four #57

The Watcher looks as he did in Fantastic Four #72.
